Dreaming…

Dreaming…

Last night, I dreamed I went on a cruise with my high school class of 1963.  The fun part was that everyone was there.  The scary part was that I could not find the dining room – anywhere!

Granted, I’ve had enough psychology within my educational endeavors to know this probably stemmed from the fact that I have been trying (rather unsuccessfully) to D-I-E-T.  I have a hard time even saying the word.  So, I go to sleep and dream about all the wonderful food on board ship that I cannot seem to find.  How sad is that?!

Well, really and truly, the sad part is that I was alone on the cruise.  Woke up feeling a wee bit depressed and hungry!  ;-)

Although I am a true Southern Heart (I was born in Mississippi and grew up in Tennessee), I also love the Prairie, and that is where I am now.

I am a mother of three grown children - two wonderful sons and an amazing, beautiful daughter. I am a grandmother of nine - two grandsons and seven granddaughters. If you were to ask my grandchildren: they would tell you that "being a grandmother is what I do and that nothing in this world could keep me from it".

  1. Oh, Dianne, this kind of cracks me up!! Every time I used to diet when I was younger, I would dream about being on a cruise ship (I’ve never been on one) and would be gorging at the buffet!! LOL! Well, our dreams were different in that I had FOUND the dining room and was throwing all restraint to the wind. LOL! I’m pretty sure I was alone… but, not caring because of all the beautiful food. Now, that’s sad. Hope you are having a wonderful day and are dieting successfully! blessings ~ tanna

    • LOL! Thanks, Tanna! Today is a new day and I can start all over again on my D-I-E-T! It’s beginning to feel a little like the movie, Groundhog Day! ;-)

I love comments!
